Aliens

• Based on some extraterrestrial threat, but the media must focus more on the horror than the action

  • According to dictionary.com, extraterrestrial is defined as - (adjective) outside, or originating outside, the limits of the earth​

  • This would be the difference between "Alien" and "Independence Day"

Deranged Man

• Based on what should be a normal man, but he acts outside of the established societal norms

Ghosts

• Based on paranormal or supernatural entities that do not primarily derive their power or source from a religious nature

Kaiju

• (noun) a giant monster, particularly such as those relating to Japanese science fiction - from YourDictionary.com

• For our shows purposes, we are expanding to include monsters both big and small and they do not have to be related to Japanese science fiction

Mad Scientist

• Based on the terror from rogue scientific work or the scientist himself

  • This differs from Deranged Man due to this category's focus on science​

Religion

• Based on the tangible and intangible aspects of religious based fear

  • From demons to ideology and beyond​

Transformed Man

• Based on fears both personal and societal of man being anything other than "normal"

  • This is where we will look at werewolves, hill people, etc​

Vampires

• This one is pretty self-explanatory. However, the media must focus on the more monstrous side of the vampire and not the sexual side

  • Sorry Twilight fans!​

Witchcraft

• Another pretty obvious one, it will be based on someone who manipulates spirits or nature to accomplish evil deeds

Zombies

• Here we will take a look at the living dead and other variations of the zombie

  • So you will find your traditional Romero zombies, as well as people infected with a "rage virus"​
